Training, Qualifications and Experience
I have been an Accredited Member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy since 1996 and gained my Diploma with the Westminster Pastoral Foundation in London in the same year.
I am a U.K.R.C. Registered Independent Counsellor and a member of the Guild of Pastoral Psychology.
I trained for 5 years with the Gloucestershire Counselling Service and worked with them as a Counselling Member and Assessment worker.
In 2007 I completed a Post-Qualifying Certificate in CBT skills at the W.P.F. in London.
I have a particular interest in the work of the Swiss psychologist C.G.Jung and I underwent a Jungian Analysis as part of my training programme.
Although I work mainly in Private Practice, I also work part time for a Group Practice of General Practitioners in Gloucester and for Dean Close School in Cheltenham.
